Last week I discovered two new fruits. New to me, of course. Perhaps these are familiar to you, but I was delighted to see, and taste, them for the first time.
These are cherimoya, also known as “custard apples”.
They have a plethora of large seeds inside, but the fruit is tasty.
These beauties are pitaya, or “dragon fruit” – tastes like a kiwi, but dressed all fancy.
